Summer should be coming to an end soon. And oh how I love autumn. The leaves, the crisp air, the food, the smells, and the temperature dropping. I'm going to love spending this time with him. The ability to be warmed up by him and the tenderness from him.
I know I'm going to have doctor appointments and such but there is so much I want to do with him during this time of year. Apple picking is high on my list. And making everything under the sun with the apples: applesauce, apple cider, apple jack (maybe), apple cake, apple jam, apple butter, apple pie, caramel apple, and roasted apple. Make Harry Potter food and read the books. Make pumpkin pie. Cut jack-o-lanterns of all kinds. Drink hot chocolate and play Magic. Find a swing set and swing until it hurts. Take a day trip into the mountains to watch the leaves change colors. Celebrate All Saints Day with him. Celebrate Halloween: watch scary movies, go pumpkin picking with him, carve our pumpkin together, take a hay ride together, go to a haunted house, make scary treats together, go to a costume party and go trick or treating or at least dress up to give the candy out. Play flag football with him. Slow dance while the wind is blowing leaves around. Enjoy a fire outside and finally let him have a smore. Attempt to teach him fencing. Make homemade soup and chili with him. Roast pumpkin seeds. Make homemade doughnuts. Read the ghost stories of Alabama (maybe go to a few?). Enjoy a funnel cake. Go bike riding. Fly a kite. Go to the teaching things at Tannehill. Go on a picnic. Pig out on candy.
Basically fun but romantic things.
